My Very Own Cell
Lesson Description: 3rd grade students learn about connections between art and science and see how artists and scientists can collaborate. Students design and create their own cell that includes a cell body, cell wall, and nucleus, Cells are made out of clay and use elements of color and pattern. The nucleus consists of radially woven yarn.
